China will cut or reduce export tax rebates for a wide range of commodities including aluminium products
On Nov 15, 2024: China's finance ministry and the state administrationof taxation issued the announcement:
1. Cancel the export tax rebate for aluminum, copper, and chemically modified animal, plant or microbial oils, fats and other products; (see attached)
2. Reduce the export tax rebate rate for some refined oils, photovoltaics, batteries, and some non-metallic mineral products from 13% to 9%; (see attached)
3. This announcement will take effect on Dec. 1, 2024.
