Recently, the Nonferrous Metals Industry Association’s Aluminum Branch held a meeting, where it was stated: "Aluminum exports will remain at a high level in 2024, and the final decision on the export tax refund policy will impact the industry. Companies need to prepare for policy changes and respond proactively."
Aluminum profiles comes from the extrusion of aluminum billets and create different cross sections. Based on the application, aluminum profiles are mainly divided into architectural aluminum profiles and industrial aluminum profiles.
Till now, China is absolutely the leader in global aluminum industry. In 2023, China's aluminum exports reached 5.287 million tons, accounting for about 35% of the total global trade.
Industrial aluminium profiles in terms of new energy automobile orders run steadily. The overall point of view, close to the Spring Festival and Christmas, regardless of domestic and foreign, the demand for aluminium is decreasing.
China's 2024 production forecast was also raised and adjusted for year-to-date growth, while Russia's 2025 and 2026 production forecasts were lowered.
The Bureau of Statistics showed that China's November electrolytic aluminium output was 3.71 million tonnes, up 3.6% year-on-year; January-November electrolytic aluminium output was 40.22 million tonnes, up 4.6% year-on-year cumulatively.
