Australia Delays Release of Essential Facts Report and Final Recommendation for Third Sunset Review of Anti-Dumping and Countervailing Measures on Chinese Aluminum Extrusions

On February 24, 2025, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2025/012, stating that the release of the Essential Facts Report and the final recommendation for the third sunset review investigation of anti-dumping and countervailing measures on aluminum extrusions imported from China has been postponed. The Australian Commission is expected to release the Essential Facts Report no later than July 16, 2025, and submit the final recommendation to the Australian Minister for Industry and Science no later than September 8, 2025.

On August 16, 2024, the Australian Anti-Dumping Commission issued Announcement No. 2024/046, stating that the anti-dumping and countervailing measures on aluminum extrusions imported from China will expire on October 28, 2025.
